The Rotary Club of Evesham held their latest tin and non perishable items collection at Morrisons Evesham on Saturday and records numbers were collected.

Generous shoppers donated more than 1,800 items for Evesham Foodbank, which local charity Caring Hands will distribute to those in need.

Rotarian organiser Jeremy Knight said: “At Evesham Rotary Club we believe we can help those in need within our own community, and this is why we continue with the collection. It is so important at Christmas and we are so grateful for the generous shoppers who give so much and will help many people over the next few weeks."

Evesham Rotary club would like to thank Morrisons for allowing us to collect at their store and for their continued support.”
