A NEWLYWED couple are appealing to find their suitcase after it went missing on the train on the way back from their wedding.

Andrew and Nicci Kinsler, who tied the knot on December 5, have launched an appeal to find the missing bag, which contains a Mac Book Pro, £650 in cash, spa vouchers worth £650, wedding shoes, a personalised ring box and other wedding gifts.

The pair were travelling back to London Paddington from Worcester Foregate Street on Monday (December 9) on the 12.56pm train.

Mr Kinsler, aged 32 said: “We fear that many gifts and treasured possessions are now lost to us.

“A lot of the stuff I had in there was from when I was a teenager. This hit home. You can make more money but can’t replace those sentimental belongings.

“There was a pair of joggers in there that I’ve had for 15 years. It’s a kick in the teeth.”

He added: “We are pretty streetwise. I thought the bag would be safe.

“We do that journey three to four times a year. We want to warn people to be vigilant.”

The couple were sat two rows away from the bag, which was stored in the compartment by the train doors. There were 11 stops between the Worcester and London train stations.

Mr Kinsler said: “We are really shocked how it happened so close to us. We got to Paddington and then realised the case was missing. My case was on the bottom – it would have been difficult to get out. It could have been a mix up and someone could have mistaken it for their own.

“The first day we were still in shock. We had a Christmas week planned as we still have a week off work. We’ve been trying to keep busy to take our mind off it. We have dealt with the fact that our valuables have potentially gone.”

The couple, who now live in London, spent a few days in Mrs Kinsler’s hometown, Worcester, and also Malvern.

The newlyweds got married at The Wood Norton Hotel, near Evesham.

Mr Kinsler said the wedding day was “everything and more” they could have wanted.

He added: “It’s disappointing but it hasn’t tainted our day. It could’ve been a lot worse.”

The missing bag is black/grey coloured with orange highlights.
