A DOG will be destroyed if it is not muzzled after a court decided it was dangerously out of control.

Worcestershire magistrates ruled the Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Marley must be kept on a lead, fitted with a muzzle and kept in a cage at home when a child is present.

The order was made after Jacqueline Blick, aged 49, from Dolphin Close, Redditch, admitted being in charge of Marley when he became out of control and injured another person.

Magistrates also ruled Marley should be castrated and they fined Blick £150, ordered her to pay £150 compensation, £100 costs and a victim surcharge of £32.
