AN independent fostering agency based in Bromsgrove is reaching out to individuals and families who are interested in becoming carers with an event in their local area.
Clifford House will be opening their doors from 10am-4pm on Wednesday, February 5 for a coffee morning in Ollie’s Eatery on the High Street, Bromsgrove.
Guests will be able to pop in and speak to the Clifford House fostering team along with current foster carers to gain an insight into the life of a foster carer, gather information and ask any questions they may have.
As of March 31, 2018, 53,040 children were in care according to Ofsted, an increase of more than 1,000 when compared to the 2017 figures.
As a result, more foster carers than ever are needed to care for these vulnerable children.
