Bromsgrove councillor Rob Hunter recently swapped the council chamber for the maternity ward for the birth of his first child.

Teddy Hunter was born at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital on December 1, weighing 5lb 4oz.

Proud parents Claire and Rob live on Hawthorn Road in Norton and Lickey End which Rob represents on Bromsgrove Council.

Mum and dad said: “We’re absolutely over the moon. Little Teddy was a tad premature so needed a bit of extra help at first but is doing brilliantly now.

"We’d like to thank all the dedicated NHS staff at Worcester and in the local community for their wonderful care.”
