SIR – As a steward at Worcester City’s home matches, I echo the views of the chairman regarding the behaviour of opposing teams during recent matches.
My blood pressure has gone through the roof, as a result of having to deal with some of the shenanigans in the previous few weeks.
As well as the Heather St John’s game, the actions of one particular supporter during the FA Vase encounter with Coventry United was enough to make a nun blush!
I don’t understand why teams can’t celebrate their successes without feeling the need to take their clothes off and indulge in obscene behaviour.
Clubs need to work together to ensure that these kind of spectacles do not continue. Players and supporters alike need to show each other respect.
