A VIOLENT Droitwich man has been jailed for kneeing a woman in the face causing actual bodily harm.

Richard Cook, aged 44, of Home Piece, was found guilty of assaulting two women, leaving one with a broken tooth.

Worcestershire magistrates jailed Cook, who denied both charges, for 26 weeks for the incident which left the woman injured and 16 weeks to run concurrently for the other attack, which took place in front of the woman's children and left them distraught.

He was also given a restraining order banning him from directly contacting either victim for five years and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Jack Rawlings, aged 20, of Showell Green, Droitwich, was fined £233 and ordered to pay £105 costs plus a £32 victim surcharge, after he admitted breaching a restraining order.

Luke Baker, aged 22, from Cavendish Close, Marlbrook, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, without insurance and while not wearing a seatbelt.

He was given a community order with a requirement to carry out 100 hours unpaid work and disqualified from driving for a further eight months.

He was also fined £80 and ordered to pay £135 costs and a £90 victim surcharge after he admitted obstructing a police officer.

Mattie Brooks, aged 21, of Brightstone Road, Rednal, was disqualified from driving for 12 months, fined a total of £880 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge for driving without a valid licence or insurance.

Dean Wilkinson, aged 40, of Winslow Avenue, Droitwich, was disqualified from driving for six months, fined a total of £880 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge for driving without a valid licence or insurance.

Desmond Burns, aged 29, of Frogmill Road, Rednal, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol in his breath.

He was banned from driving for 36 months, fined £80 and ordered to pay £135 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Charles Johns, aged 35, of Thornwaite Close, Rednal was banned from driving for 17 months, fined £300 and ordered to pay £185 costs and a £32 victim surcharge nafter pleading guilty to driving with excess alcohol in his breath.

He was fined a further £300 for being in possession of an offensive weapon (a baseball bat) in a public place without good reason.

Lee Sanderson, aged 32, of Golden Cross Lane, Catshill, was banned from driving for 40 months, fined £415, ordered to pay £135 costs and a £41 victim surcharge.

Sanderson admitted driving with excess alcohol in his breath and driving without a licence.

Jason Spencer, aged 44, from Austin Road, Bromsgrove, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £135 costs and a £21 victim surcharge after he admitted stealing hand tools from a DIY shop.

Anthony Walker, aged 40, of Acorn Road, Catshill, was fined £100 after he admitted breaching a court order.

Joshua Smith, aged 20, of Hanbury Road, Stoke Prior, was fined £100 after he admitted breaching a court order.

Jody Booth, aged 40, of Tagwell Road, Droitwich, was banned from driving for 20 months, fined £180 and ordered to pay £135 costs and a £32 victim surcharge after he pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol in his breath.

Ashley Dolphin, aged 21, of Broadmeadow, Droitwich, was given eight penalty points, fined a total of £160 and ordered to pay £175 compensation, £135 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Dolphin had pleaded guilty to two charges of driving without a licence and two charges of driving without insurance.

Jason Holder, aged 41, of Bluebell Close, Droitwich, was banned from driving for 15 months, fined £300 and ordered to pay £135 costs and a £32 victim surcharge after he admitted driving with excess alcohol in his breath.

Timothy Garbett, aged 50, of Sneads Green, Droitwich, was fined £660 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge after he was convicted of failing to provide information about the identity of teh driver of a vehicle involved in an alleged offence.
