HEADLINERS continue to raise excitement for the forthcoming Cornbury Festival, which will rock the Cotswolds from July 10 to July 12.

Jack Savoretti, a festival favourite discovered at Cornbury in his early days, now holding court on prime time Tv shows such as Graham Norton and Jonathan Ross bags the Saturday July 11 headline slot.

Another Cornbury regular Mike Scott with The Waterboys will be gracing the main stage and expected to cause a rousing Saturday night sing along from the Cornbury crowd.

The band have recently enjoyed a huge resurgence in popularity following the final series, final episode sound bed of their classic ‘The Whole Of The Moon’ for the HBO smash ‘The Affair’.

And finally, bringing the inevitable party spirit and Summer vibes to the proceedings, Kid Creole joins them with the inimitable Coconuts playing their UK festival exclusive

Friday headliners Van Morrison and Dido were announced last month.

“We’ve always worked with the best songwriters and performers at Cornbury and we’ve certainly landed them this year’ says promoter Hugh Phillimore.

“Along with Van Morrison and Dido, this year’s Cornbury is shaping up to be one of our very best,” adds Hugh.

The Cornbury Music Festival retains a spirit of independence and the feel of a glorious garden fete, despite having featured a huge host of big names since its first edition in 2004.

Huge said: Here at Cornbury Towers, we constantly strive to deliver a line-up overflowing with talent and in this, our 17th year, we promise to do just that.”
