A TOTAL of 19 patients with Covid-19 in Worcestershire have died, it has been confirmed.

NHS England has announced six further deaths, up from 13 previously.

The figures are the latest provided by the public body, as of March 31.

The trust has said the latest deaths announced are patients aged between between 54 and 94. All families have been informed.

The Trust covers the Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Evesham Community Hospital as well as the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Kidderminster Hospital.
