Schoolchildren across Evesham are being called on to help in the fight against coronavirus by using their creative art and design talents.

Evesham Safer Neighbourhood Team is running a competition for under 14s during the two-week Easter holidays.

They are being asked to design colourful and bright posters to promote the rules of LOCKDOWN with the tag line ‘Stay Home Save Lives’, to encourage members of the public to remain at home, protect the NHS and give key workers the best possible chance to continue delivering vital services.

Once designed on A4 paper (or bigger), a picture of the posters should emailed to eveshamtnrs.snt@westmercia.pnn.police.uk with their name, address and age.

Police say it would also be amazing to see the posters displayed prominently in the front window of homes.

Officers on patrol in Evesham will then select random posters they see during the Easter holidays and leave a Cadbury's chocolate egg on the door step ensuring that the treats are left in accordance with guidance relating to social-distancing.
