A NURSERY in the city has supported frontline workers amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Little Lodge Nursery took on the challenge to raise as much money to support community key workers who have been putting themselves at risk for the greater good.

A spokesman for the nursery based in Swinesherd Way said: “We hope with this small gesture, we can bring some joy to the committed personnel who are helping to keep us safe and the country running during this difficult time. “Keep going, we are all here to support you to get through this together.”

Staff delivered the items to Perry Manor Care Home and Worcestershire Royal Hospital, among other places.

More than £1,000 has been raised between staff and parents, allowing for approximately 1,500 individual items consisting of hand creams, antibacterial wipes, hand sanitisers and lip balms to be given out.
