The sister of a missing man who went missing two years ago has pleaded for any information which would help find him.

Today is Matthew Bone's 29th birthday.

Fighting back tears, Katie Bone, whose brother Matthew went missing in Callow End, aged 26, on March 9 in 2018, said: "Today is Matt's 29th birthday and another birthday where he's not here, making us feel incredibly sad as a family.

"We are urging anyone to get in touch with information and to put up posters to help find him.

"We hold out hope that he will be found before next year."

Matthew travelled from Portsmouth to Worcestershire and checked into Stanbrook Abbey Hotel on Friday, March 9 in 2018. He has not been seen or heard from since.

Detective Inspector Beth Wells, of West Mercia Police, said: “Two years ago Matt went missing, and we believe this to be in Callow End area of Malvern. Our officers and Matt’s family continue to be extremely concerned for his welfare and we are urging anyone who may have any information about his whereabouts to come forward.

“At this time we have no information to suggest he left the Malvern area. Anyone who sees Matt or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101.

“We hope that this re-appeal for information will bring in some fresh information, so please take a couple of minutes to look at the images and share these with your friends and families so that we can find Matt.”
