A WOMAN who was killed in a crash near Chipping Campden earlier this month has been named as Teresa Webb, aged 81, of Victoria Road, Bidford-on-Avon.
At Gloucester Coroner’s Court an inquest was opened into the death of Mrs Webb, who was a passenger in a Mazda MX-5 which overturned in Church Street, Weston Subedge, shortly after 1pm on Tuesday, May 12.
She was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The inquest heard that a limited external post-mortem was carried out because of the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions and the cause of death had been provisionally recorded as multiple facial injuries and a skull fracture sustained in the road traffic collision.
The case was adjourned for a full hearing on a date to be fixed.
