SAFETY is key for a popular Hereford venue which has set its sights on being the safest cafe in the city.
Riverside cafe De Koffie Pot has implemented a raft of safety measures to help keep staff and customers safe, including standing by the two-metre social distancing rule.
The much-loved city venue opened for business again on Super Saturday, and will be open seven days a week from 11am to 1am, serving food and drinks to booked tables only.
"You must book a table in advance to gain entry even if you are only drinking," a spokesperson said.
"Our aim is to be the safest café in town. We are standing by the two metre rule, we are not reducing our spacing to one metre."

Other measures introduced include ordering from your table using an online menu which can be found by clicking here, while only card payments will be accepted via the website.
The team will be offering table service only, with food and drink served to an adjacent 'neutral' table for customers to collect.
The cafe is limiting last entries to 11pm, with proof of booking needed, and up to six people from different households can meet at any outdoor table while two households can meet indoors or outdoors.
De Koffie Pot is just one of the many pubs, cafes and restaurants to welcome customers back, as businesses rallied to make their premises safe before the coronavirus lockdown eased on July 4.
