EMERGENCY services were called to reports of a house fire in south Herefordshire last night (August 3).
A fire service spokesperson said crews from Fownhope, Hereford and Ross-on-Wye fire stations were sent to the grade two listed property in Much Birch at 8.42pm.
The fire was found to be in the kitchen and involved a chip pan on the hob.
Crews used a hose reel jet and positive pressure ventilation to put out the fire.
The ambulance service was also sent to the property.
