A CAR fire in Stourport was extinguished by Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews early this morning (February 22).
A crew from the town’s fire station were alerted to and attended the incident, which involved a car that was well alight near to Bewdley Road North at about 3.03am.
The firefighters were able to put out the blaze using a hose reel jet.
Earlier this morning, at about 12.40am, Kidderminster Fire Station’s blue watch responded to a smoke detector activating on Orchard Street.
The cause of the alarm was a small fire on a hob. Firefighters gave advice to the occupier.
