A KIDDERMINSTER school has been awarded a prestigious award for the second year running for its PE provision.
Teachers and pupils at Holy Trinity School and Sixth Form Centre are celebrating after being awarded the School Games Gold Mark Award.
The School Games Mark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community.
Participating in this process allows schools to evaluate their PE provision and assists them in developing an action plan for future progress.
Holy Trinity’s Head of Prep PE, Sarah Williams said: “As part of our application, we were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs, and we are thrilled that the hard work of everyone at our school has been rewarded once again.
“We are extremely delighted and proud of our pupils for their dedication to all aspects of school sport, including those young volunteers, leaders and officials who made our competitions possible. We’re now looking forward to applying once again in 2019.”
