Rock revellers can rejoice at a new series of live music events in Kidderminster set to entertain and electrify.

The ProFusion - A Series Of Fortunate Events will start at Kidderminster Town Hall on Wednesday October 9, featuring live performances from three rock acts.

Taking to the Town Hall stage will be groups Hey Jester, The Tirith and the UK's only Porcupine Tree tribute band.

The bands will bring there signature sounds to delight the Kidderminster audience.

The ProFusion series will take place on the second Wednesday of each month leading up to the end of the year.

Organiser Steve Gould said: "The town hall is a very under-used venue for music gig, especially when you look back at its heritage, who's played there in the past.

"I want to revitalise this place as a serious music venue, and with so many venues closing down, what an ideal opportunity to put the town on the map."

Steve is also organising the third Fusion festival at The Civic in Stourport, celebrating prog rock music, which will take place in March next year.

Tickets for the first event cost £5 in advance or £7 on the door.

Tickets for the concert can be booked via www.kidderminster-events.co.uk or by calling 01562 732158.

Doors open at 6.30pm.
