A ROAD was cordoned off by police in Kidderminster town centre after concerns were raised for the welfare of a man on top of a multi-storey car park.
Blackwell Street was blocked off this morning (Wednesday, July 22) while emergency services were at the scene from 8.30am.
Police and ambulance services attended and witnesses described seeing a man stood on top of the Swan Centre car park building.
Photographs sent to The Shuttle show at least three police officers at the scene outside the NCP shopping centre car park.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "We were called to a concern for safety of a man at 8.30am today in Blackwell Street, Kidderminster.
"Officers attended and a man was located.
"He is safe and with ambulance colleagues."
West Midlands Ambulance Service was approached for comment.
