JUST a point, regarding the Council Tax revolution.
Pensioners who live in homes, that have double glazing, extensions and conservatories etc, managed to pay for them, by working 47 years or more probably on good wages, or salaries.
Then to come down on to pension that is for less than you earned, you are expected to pay up with all other increases, that is put on us, if you have a company pension which you also paid for, this puts you just over the limit for Income Support or Pension Credit, who I believe those on it do not pay, or very little of the Council Tax.
What help can us pensioners who cannot claim anything expect.
