Dudley Sports were clearly oozing with confidence after reaching the FA Vase first round the previous week and followed up by hitting strugglers Smethwick Rangers 6-0 in a league contest at Tividale's Packwood Road.
Dominic Latham lashed home a couple of times for Sports while Mitch Evans, James Weaver, Matt Vaughan and Nicky Turton netted the remaining goals.
Sports entertain Wolves Sporting Community this Saturday while Smethwick have a local derby at home to Dudley Town.
However, the six goal hiding from Sports leaves Smethwick still looking for their first point of the campaign after suffering six straight defeats.
They remain locked at the bottom with Wem Town who have also lost their opening six games, their latest beating being a 4-1 reverse at home to OJM Black Country Rangers.
Goals from Callum Nimmo, Troy Wallen, Alex Hammond and Jordan Flattley sealed Smethwick's fate and made it two wins from two starts for Lye based Black Country.
