Stourbridge News: THIS morning began with a trip to Methodist Special School where we met lots of children with learning difficulties.

The children were a delight! We spent the morning colouring, face painting, singing songs, giving hand massages and playing with balloons and bubbles...what a pleasure to see the fun and joy on the children's faces.

I have to say some of their dance moves put some of us adults to shame! An experience never to be forgotten!

After lunch we visited a beautiful house in Lamin that belonged to Nena and her family. We were made so welcome by the whole family.

She taught us the art of Batik. We made our own designs....some more artistic than others! While there we tried Sorrell juice, sweet potatoes and sweet peanut feast.

A perfect afternoon that was enjoyed by all.

After several hours, we headed back to the hotel read to welcome our latest members of the Project Gambia team. I hope they enjoy their experience as much as we have.

The memories and impact on me will last a lifetime.
