OLD Hill skipper Dannyjo Cox thinks there is still more improvement in his side after victory over Barnards Green.

They claimed back-to-back league wins thanks to the five wicket success last Saturday.

After doing well to limit their visitors to 239, a solid batting performance with the bat saw them reach their target against the side that was top of Division One of the Birmingham Premier going into the weekend fixtures.

Cox said: "We played some really good cricket yet there are still areas for improvement.

"There is plenty of potential still in this side and the win against Barnard Green highlighted that.

"It was a strange showing in the field because it looked like they would go on to make more runs before we did well to peg them back.

"With the bat we all chipped in well. However, the thing we have spoken about a lot as a team is that people need to go on and hit big scores once they get in.

"It all highlights that it could get even better for us.

"We are a young team and the more we play and the more experience we get the more we should start to improve."

They will now face the team that replaced Green at the head of affairs last Saturday in the form of Bromsgrove.

They will welcome the Boars to Haden Hill for a noon start.

Cox said his side don't fear anyone.

"We can't start to concentrate on what other teams have to offer because it will mean lose focus on ourselves," he added.

"It is my job to think about the opposition, not the rest of the team. Bromsgrove are a good side but we go into the game in good form."
