HALESOWEN Town have completed the loan signing of William Longbottom from Doncaster Rovers.

Forward Longbottom, 19, came through the youth ranks at Rovers and broke into the first team having impressed manager Darren Ferguson and featured heavily throughout the early stages of the Checkatrade Trophy, in which he scored his first professional goal against Derby County under-23s.

He was handed his first professional contract in January 2017 and is widely considered a player with a bright future ahead of himself.

He will be at the Grove on an initial one month loan.
