MANAGER Andy Fisher says Stourbridge Ladies will be targeting promotion this season.
The Glassgirls kick-off the new campaign with an FA Cup clash against Solihull United on Sunday, September 2.
They will then start their push for West Midlands League Division One glory at Kingfisher a week later on September 9.
Stour finished last season in fifth place but are now going all out for promotion this term after a big summer recruitment drive at the War Memorial Ground.
Fisher said: "I think Stourbridge Ladies now have the strongest team they have ever had.
"We lost a few players but have bought in about 22 new players.
"The chairman has been great and has put a lot of money in to support the team and now wants something to show for that.
"It is a tough league but I think it is very possible for us to get promotion this season and that is our aim."
