STOURBRIDGE tennis starlet Max Walker has earned a call-up to represent England.
Walker, 12, from Pedmore is one of only two boys to be selected to represent the England under-12s team in the upcoming Home Nations Championships in Belfast.
In September, England will join Ireland, Wales and Scotland in the Home Nations Championships - a historic team event that will be played at CIYMS Tennis Club, Belfast, from Thursday, September 6 to Sunday, September 9.
The selection comes on the back of a successful season for Walker, which saw him reach the doubles final in both the Tennis Europe Halton event and the Grade 2 National tournament in Bath.
He was also part of the team that won the National Premier 12 Under Team Tennis Championships 2018 and played at number one position for Staffordshire in the under-12 County National Finals.
