TOP of the table Black Country Rangers face a tricky trip to Nottingham in the next round of the FA Vase following their 4-0 demolition of local rivals Dudley Town this week.

Tom Hill and Liam Hughes both bagged a brace of goals to book Rangers a clash with Hucknall in the next stage of the competition on October 13.

Rangers spokesman Andy Harris said: "I can only recall Dudley having one shot on target throughout the entire game. We should have scored more, 6-0 would have been a fairer reflection on the game."

Dudley's defeat stretches Black Country's 100 per cent start to the season to eight games but that unblemished record will be put to the test this week as they were due to face second placed Wolves Casuals in midweek before entertaining Dudley Town again on Saturday in the West Midland League Premier.
