LYE Town boss Andy Wyton is looking to add much travelled Rion Francis-Mills to his line up following this week's 1-1 draw with Worcester City.

Francis-Mills has made a habit of following Wyton during his career having previously played for him at Dudley Town , Gornal Athletic and more recently Cradley Town.

Francis-Mills started the season at Tividale and Wyton insisted: "He's a great kid and I know what he can bring to the side".

Wyton admitted that the draw with Worcester was a fair result in the end but added: "We should have gone 2-0 up at one stage in the first half but Jack Till missed a couple of great chances to score.

"If we'd have put them away, Worcester would have found it hard to come back at us.

"Fair play to them, as they changed their shape in the second half and created some good chances of their own".

Chris Withrington eventually put Worcester ahead on 57 minutes but Lye soon hit back to level through Jason Wood.

Wyton has brought in Bromsgrove Sporting goalkeeper Reece Francis on loan as his previous shotstopper Tom Turner is currently unavailable owing to his work as a fireman.

Wyton had originally brought in Cradley Town goalkeeper Jack O'Day but said: "Reece is an experienced goalkeeper who dominates his area - and it's that experience that I need at the moment, although I don't know how long I'll have him for."

Busy Wyton had also snapped up Highgate United's Sam Tye, but his arrival at Stourbridge Road hardly lasted a day.

Tye was then seized by Redditch United's new boss Paul Smith, who had previously been in charge at Highgate.

Wyton added: "It must be the shortest signing I've ever made."

Lye were due to face Highgate United this week in the Worcester Senior Urn before entertaining Shepshed Dynamo in a Midland League match this Saturday.
