BOSS Gary Hackett is expecting a tougher test when Stourbridge once again take on Kidderminster Harriers in the FA Cup.

The Glassboys have been drawn against their National League North neighbours in the third qualifying round of the famous competition. The clash will take place at the War Memorial Ground on Saturday, October 6.

The last time the team's met in the contest it was the Glassboys that progressed thanks to a 3-0 win over Dave Hockaday's Harriers in 2015.

Despite Kidderminster now playing one lower level, Hackett believes the clash will be far tougher this time around.

He said: "They are a local rival so it will be another big game.

"It will definitely be a different game compared to last time. They were at a low ebb then and a lot has changed since.

"I know a lot of people at the club and I know they are keen to exorcise a few ghosts from that last loss. A lot of Kidderminster people will be looking for revenge.

"We are still capable of causing an upset against them but we'll have to be at our very best.

"It's a big game that should generate a lot of interest so we can really look forward to trying to pull off another giant killing."

The Glassboys booked their place in the third qualifying round with a 3-2 win against Leamington last Saturday.

An own goal from Jack Lane, a strike from Leon Broadhurst and an injury time winner from Kaiman Anderson saw the hosts come out on top.

"We've got to be very pleased with the win because Leamington are a very strong side," added the manager.

"When they equalised I thought we may have been in danger of losing but instead we went again and found the winner. It's also great for Kaiman as well and everyone in the dressing room is delighted for him.

"He's worked really hard this season and has deserved that goal."

The Glassboys will now look to return to winning ways in the league when they host Needham Market this Saturday.

"Before we play Kidderminster we have a game in the league that is our main focus," added Hackett. "Our league form has been good despite drawing the last two but we are keen to win again."

Key men Luke Benbow and Greg Mills are both rated 50/50 to be fit for the game. Defender Stuart Pierpoint is also absent.

* Stourbridge will hold an junior day at the club this weekend.

A host of family attractions, including team stalls and inflatable games, will be on offer from 1pm ahead of the game at 3pm.
