TIVIDALE boss Dave King was pleased with his side's points return after a gruelling week of action.

Dale beat third-placed Wolverhampton Casuals 3-2 last Tuesday before picking up a point with a 1-1 draw at Malvern on Saturday.

King said: "I'd have definitely taken four points from six if I'd have been offered it at the start of last week.

"The win against Wolverhampton Casuals was a really great game and advert for non-league football.

"It was like a heavyweight boxing match that went one way then the other. To get the win was brilliant.

"It was then a really good point for us at Malvern because we looked tired and like the amount of games we have had recently was starting to catch up with us.

"We looked a tired team but still found a way to take something from the game late on."

Tivi will now welcome Bewdley Town on Wednesday before hosting Dudley Town this Saturday (3pm kick-off).

King is looking to freshen up his squad by bringing in a versatile players before the weekend.

Dale lost forward Jake Brigdale to Dudley Town last week but have welcomed TJ Munthali back to the Beeches from Wolverhampton Sporting.

Tivi remain in second place in the West Midlands Premier League but are just a point behind leaders Black Country Rangers.
