GORNAL-based Black Country Rangers let two points slip from their grasp when they were reduced to nine men against Hereford side Wellington in the West Midlands Premier League.

Rangers appeared to be coasting to victory when going 2-0 up in the second half thanks to goals from Liam Hughes and Jamell Fuller.

But the match turned on its head when Rangers had Jake Healey sent off.

Matters worsened still when Fuller had to leave the pitch injured after Rangers had already used their quota of substitutes.

It meant Rangers having to play the final 20 minutes with nine players and Wellington took full advantage to score twice.

Although Rangers remain second in the table, they have now allowed leaders Tividale to open up a 10 gap at the top.

Rangers visit next-to-bottom side Wem Town this Saturday.

Tivi extended their lead thanks to a 6-0 hammering of Pershore Town.

A Darragh Bustin hat-trick, a Demetri Brown double and a strike from Matt Hunt handed them a comprehensive success.

They go to Shifnal Town this Saturday.

Dudley Town suffered a 2-1 away loss at Bilston Town.

They are due to take on Cadbury Athletic in the Birmingham FA Mid-Week Cup on Wednesday before hosting Cradley Town at York Road this Saturday.

Cradley lost 2-0 at home to Malvern to leave them in 15th place.

They host Nuneaton Griff in the mid-week cup before heading to Dudley Town.

Dudley Sports lost 7-2 at home against Shifnal Town and now sit 14th in the table.

They will look to hit back quickly with a trip to Wellington this Saturday.
