WESTFIELDS manager Andy Bevan said that a sending off changed the game as Westfields suffered a 2-1 home defeat against Quorn.

The game looked in the balance until a deliberate handball by Westfields’ defender Josh Thomas saw him block Darious Darkins’ header on the goal-line and given a straight red card.

Stephen Hart stepped up to slot home the 62nd minute penalty.

Despite looking bound to a single goal defeat Fields got back into the tie with an equaliser on the 84th minute with Keanu Cooper’s curled effort into the bottom corner.

However, Quorn hit their winner two minutes from time with Hart running through on goal and despite a joint effort by goalkeeper Kieron Blackburn and Paul Hurrell to deny him the deflection fell kindly for Hart to tap home.
