LEAGUE leaders Tividale edged out AFC Bridgnorth thanks to Darragh Bustin's only goal of the game.

Dale picked up three points on the road after Bustin broke the deadlock after 64 minutes last Saturday.

The visitors held out for the win despite Ben Birch seeing red 15 minutes from time.

The victory maintains their 13 point lead at the top of the West Midlands Premier League.

Dudley Town stopped the rot of six straight defeats by bagging a point against Shawbury United last weekend.

They face neighbours Cradley in the mid-week cup on Tuesday but will also face a break in the fixture list this Saturday before hosting Smethwick Rangers at York Road on December 8.

Dudley Sport didn't play last weekend and return to action in the cup at FC Stratford on Tuesday.

They then host Smethwick this Saturday (3pm).

Cradley go into this week's Dudley Town contest after also being without action last weekend.
