DUDLEY'S Kyle Edwards has been tipped to become a future Albion star after his brilliant match winner at Brentford.
The 21-year-old's solo strike settled a tight encounter in west London on his first start for the Baggies last weekend.
The youngster drifted past the Brentford defenders before dinking the ball over Luke Daniels into the corner to give his side a 1-0 win.
His strike came as no surprise to West Bromwich team-mate James Morrison. He told the club's website: "We've seen Kyle do that before.
"He had a good pre-season, scored a few goals. He does that in training, he's got loads of ability. I'm happy for him because he's a great lad and he's going to be a part of this club's future.
"The win is massive after Wednesday. Three points and back-to-back victories is always good. We have got a big task on if we want to get promoted, but that's in the right direction."
Edwards is a product of Albion's Academy and has been at the club for 15 years.
