CITY boss Ashley Vincent insists his side will go at Atherstone Town with “everything they’ve got” in next month’s FA Vase fifth-round clash.
Following an heroic effort on Wednesday, City moved into the last 16 of the national competition which has the carrot of a Wembley final.
Next up is a trip to the lower-ranked Adders who scalped hot favourites and 2018 finalists Stockton Town at the weekend.
“This is a game where there is a chance to get into a quarter-final in a competition where the final is played at Wembley so there is no easy game, it’s as simple as that,” Vincent said.
“We have to be ready but they will also need to be ready because we will be going there with everything we’ve got.
"The fantastic thing is that we have players in the dressing room who know quite a bit about them.
"From what they’re saying is that they perform in the big games so we will have to do our homework and make sure we are 100 per cent up for it. We have to get our performance right and not take anything for granted.”
As well as knocking out Stockton, Atherstone thrashed Malvern Town 10-0 earlier in the competition. They are managed by ex-Kidderminster Harriers striker Scott Rickards.
