The younger Samurai Judo Club players were on target again with three gold medals. A silver and two bronzes at the Worcester Open Championships.

Alex Collins started the ball rolling in the girls section with her third gold medal of 2020 so far. Her transition into groundwork was top notch in her three wins out of three contests.

Anna Baddeley just missed out on a place in the final, being caught by a throw in the semi-final when she was comfortably ahead, but came back well to win the bronze.

In the boys, Nick Deeley won all four of his contests comfortably to take the gold, and Edward Martin followed him by also winning gold with wins three out of three, coming from behind to win the final.

In the last category, Mateo Allen and Lathan Spackman came up against each other in the semi-final, a contest Mateo won with his greater experience. He went on to win silver whilst Lathan came back to win bronze.
