INJURED Worcester Warriors duo Michael Fatialofa and Perry Humphreys have been ruled out of Sunday’s Premiership Cup clash with Wasps at Sixways (3pm).
Director of rugby Alan Solomons admitted the game had come “too early” for lock Fatialofa (shoulder) while wing Humphreys (ankle) is unlikely to be back fit until Worcester's trip to Harlequins in the Gallagher Premiership next month.
Fatialofa was forced off in Warriors’ dramatic 36-31 home triumph over Stade Francais in the European Challenge Cup earlier this month.
“We probably won’t consider Michael for this game,” Solomons said.
“He is tracking quite nicely but I think it is too early to play him.
“He has taken a bang on the shoulder, that’s it.”
Humphreys has been nursing an ankle problem since injuring it in the Premiership win over Bath four weeks ago.
“Perry is not ready yet,” Solomons said.
"We have got to look at (his ankle) and will see how he is tracking the following week.
“But I am hoping that he will be fit by the time we play Harlequins (on Saturday, February 16).
“He has not been training but has been rehabilitating.”
