NICK Schonert is in a squad of 29 players for England's training camp next week ahead of the World Cup alongside two departing Worcester Warriors aces.

Uncapped prop Schonert, 27, will be joined by Saracens-bound hooker Jack Singleton and centre Ben Te'o whose destination this summer is yet to be revealed.

Head coach Eddie Jones has called up the trio for the training camp at Pennyhill Park, Surrey, alongside former Warrior Val Rapava Ruskin with the Gloucester forward receiving his first call-up.

Harlequins' Alex Dombrandt, Northampton Saints' Lewis Ludlam and Bath's Ruaridh McConnochie are also new faces.

There will be a further training camp at The Lensbury, London, before the first official World Cup gathering on July 7 at the same venue.

Players attending Pennyhill Park did not feature in the Gallagher Premiership semis or final outside of Ludlam and Rapava Ruskin.

Jones said: “The first two England training camps are designed to improve individual players’ fundamentals to allow them to compete for a place in the Rugby World Cup squad.”

The final training squad will be announced by Jones on Thursday, July 4.

England will play Wales on August 11 and Ireland on August 24 at Twickenham and Italy on September 6 in Newcastle as part of the Quilter Internationals alongside an away fixture against Wales on August 17 in Cardiff.

The players travel to Treviso, Italy, for a heat camp from July 22 until August 2 before returning to Italy from August 28 until September 5.
