MICHAEL Fatialofa's wife Tatiana has offered a positive update on the condition of the Worcester Warriors second row.

In a post on Instagram today, she reveals that lock Fatialofa is making progress in certain aspects of his recovery.

"New movement! Michael is beginning to make some progress, particularly in his right side," she wrote.

Whilst there is positive signs, his wife states in her Instagram story that she is still "praying for unassisted breathing".

"Unassisted breathing — this is KEY to being released from intensive care," she added.

New Zealander Fatialofa, 27, has been in an intensive care unit in London since suffering a spinal injury in a collision during the Saracens defeat nine days ago.

At the weekend Warriors players wore warm-up tops with the name "FATS" on the back ahead of their big win over Enisei-STM in the European Challenge Cup.
