WORCESTER Warriors' Scottish duo of Duncan Weir and Cornell du Preez return to the starting 15 to face Bath Rugby at Sixways this Saturday (3pm KO).

The pair have been away with the Scotland squad during the Autumn Nations Cup tournament but neither were included in the side to face Ireland in Dublin on Saturday, so both make a welcomed return the Worcester line-up.

Weir starts in place of Billy Searle at fly-half and du Preez will play from the base at number eight.

With the injuries to Marco Mama and Matt Kvesic last weekend at Bristol, the return of du Preez is a timely one and will add some much needed experience and power into that back-row

Alan Solomons has made three other changes for the Gallagher Premiership round three clash with Bath, which will be played in front of 2,000 fans at Sixways, as supporters finally return after a nine month absence.

Tom Dodd makes him first home Premiership start at openside flanker whilst Ethan Waller starts ahead of Callum Black in the front-row.

The other change is a surprising one as the in-form Tom Howe drops out of the match day 23 entirely and is replaced by the returning Perry Humphreys on the wing.

Solomons said earlier in the week that having fans back in the stadiums will add a much needed atmopshere and states the supporters have been missed by all players and coaches.

"It's fantastic," he added.

"We are in a very fortunate position to have supporters in and we are really excited to play in front of our fans again, we can't wait.

"You need a crowd for an atmosphere and it hasn't been the same without them."

The fans will be needed Solomons said, as he expects a tough afternoon on the pitch.

"Bath will come out firing," he said.

"Every Premiership game is a tough one, anyone can beat anyone, every side is well coached and well prepared.

"They are a big, strong, powerful outfit and we are in for a very tough game that's for sure."
