WORCESTER Warriors Alan Solomons has dismissed rumours linking Duncan Weir away from the club, saying any talk is "purely speculative".
Multiple reports have suggested that Warriors fly-half Weir will move back to his first club, Glasgow Warriors, next season.
Half-back partner Francois Hougaard is also rumoured to be on the move at the end of his contract in the summer, with Japan being touted as a possible destination for the South African international.
"It's purely speculative," confirmed Solomons.
"It is the same thing that happens every year around this time.
"Until things are clear cut then nothing has happened because sometimes what you think might happen doesn't always end up that way.
Solomons hinted that there was still work to be done in terms of team additions.
"We have clear plans in place in terms of our recruitment and retention and we are working on that," he added.
"I have to give that massive attention over the next couple of months.
"Although we retained a lot of our players last year, there is still a retention element here and of course I keep an eye on our youngsters as well."
