The Palace Theatre in central Manchester kick starts the first official Uk and Ireland tour of ‘Hamilton’. The musical experience, which took over the American Broadway stage, filled the palace theatre from the 11th of November till the 24th of February 2024. Showcasing Lin-Manuel Miranda's unique style and strongly written work, the talented Uk and Ireland tour cast brought this same energy to the stage. The Uk's associate director Stephen Whitson led the production to success and made a great start to the tour. 

The narrative follows the road to American Independence through the eyes of Alexander Hamilton who was the first treasury secretary of the states. This musical stands out from the rest as it is told through a series of rap battles and hip-hop music. This whirl of musical entertainment peaked the interests of many as Manchester palace theatre was sold out many of the performances. 

The show was infused with engaging music performed by a live orchestra, this was conducted by Zach Flis, and lead by meg cave and Beth Jerem. An immersive atmosphere was created and felt by audiences as it filled the theatre with rich and layered sound, performing the famous Hamilton songs well known by many. Contributing to the feel and look of the performance was the incredible set, costumes and lighting. Elements such as the revolve stage added depth and movement to the choreography as the ensemble utilise it within the dances. These visual elements linked to the Broadway show and we executed well throughout. 

To conclude, the performance exceeded high expectations set form the Broadway original version and will now go on to tour all the round the Uk and Ireland. It will continue to bring excitement and enriching sound to theatres across the county, this may interest newcomers to indulge in the magnificent experience that the show brings to all their audience's.
