Hayes Hurricanes ladies team convincingly beat Loughton, potentially their toughest opposition this season, at home on Sunday.
Before the match, Hayes were fully prepared for the game due to a close match at Loughton a month ago.
Loughton elected to bat first but were soon struggling at 5-2 after the third over.
Positive bowling from Lydia Greenway (3-12), Natalie Lane (2-4), Hazel Lovegrove (2-11), Sarah Lovegrove (1-7) and Susie Rowe (1-10) routed Loughton's batting as they were dismissed for just 72 in 29 overs.
The Hayes bowlers were well supported in the field by Emma Greenway, Sarah Lovegrove, Lynsey Askew and Lydia Greenway, all of whom took superb catches.
In reply, Hayes reached the required target in just 11 overs with openers the openers Lynsey Askew and Natalie Lane dispatching the Loughton bowling to all parts of the ground to clicnch an unexpected easy win.
