He may be known as The Rock, but Dwayne Johnson showed off his softer side when he appeared on LL Cool J’s new TV show.

The Fast And Furious star, best known for playing tough guys in Hercules, GI Joe: Retaliation and Pain And Gain, shared a clip of him mouthing the words to Taylor Swift’s hit Shake It Off for the rapper’s new show Lip Sync Battle.

“#LipSyncBattle OF ALL Lip Sync Battles… Channelin’ my inner @taylorswift And comin’ to take the title from @jimmyfallon #IJustShakeItOffBaby #RockVsFallon #Spike APRIL 2nd,” Dwayne wrote.

The 42-year-old father-of-one later added: “Doin’ the #TSwizzle.. Had fun.”

Other stars who take to the mic include John Legend (wearing MC Hammer trousers) for his silent rendition of U Can’t Touch This, taking on his Glory collaborator Common, who dons a wig for his version of Lionel Richie’s All Night Long.

Stephen Merchant channels his inner diva with Christina Aguilera’s Dirrty, while Mike Tyson takes on Salt-N-Pepa’s Push It in other episodes.

John Krasinski and Anna Kendrick also appear on the show.

The Spike series, based on the popular Jimmy Fallon sketches of the same name, will air on US screens on April 2.
