STOURBRIDGE Comedy Theatre Group is presenting its second ever show which aims to showcase original material and new talent.

Some Stuff Wot We Wrote And Some Stuff Wot We Pinched will run at Gig Mill Methodist Church, Glebe Lane, Norton, Stourbridge, on Saturday July 7.

The evening will comprise a collection of new and not so new comedy sketches and routines - written and adapted and performed by members of the group, which was founded by theatre fan Phill Liptrot last year.

He said: “The group is aimed at people who have had very little experience of live theatre and have always wanted to have a go.

“It has been running for just over a year now and has helped many people get joy from performing.

“This is only our second performance, and it is the first chance some people have had to put their work in front of an audience so it will be interesting to see how it is received.

“It is aimed at family audiences so no bad language but there may be some references or innuendos that may be considered racy by some.”

The show starts at 7.30pm, with doors open from 7pm.

Access is via Witton Street and tickets are priced £3 on the door.
