A CAROL service will be held in Pensnett next week, hosted by the Leukaemia unit appeal fund, which supports Russells Hall Hospital’s Georgina Unit.
A ‘Carols for Christmas’ service is taking place on Tuesday, December 4 at St Mark’s Church in Pensnett from 7.15pm until 9.30pm.
The service will feature The Ellenvale Singers and a selection of carols will be sung by the staff from the Georgina Ward.
Admission is free and there will also be complimentary hot drink and mince pies.
During the event visitors can fill in cards in memory of a loved one which will be blessed during the service.
The cards will then be hung on a tree in the hospital foyer over the festive season.
