STUDENTS at Pedmore Technology College have been collecting food to donate to the Black Country Food Bank as Christmas nears.
The collection was organised by head boy Robert Hart and head girl Charlotte King, who worked with year 11 senior prefects and the year seven school council.
The team encouraged students and staff to bring in food and organised collections on a daily basis.
Chris Walker, head of year seven, said: “The response from students was excellent and all year groups contributed.”
A percentage of money raised from the school’s Christmas fair this week will also be donated to the Black Country Food Bank.
