KINDHEARTED youngsters from Hagley Primary School collected a bumper stock of food for needy people as part of their harvest festival celebrations.
Pupils at the Park Road school were asked to take in donations for the Black Country Foodbank.
A representative from the food bank visited the school and told pupils how their donations would help during a special harvest assembly.
The charity helps vulnerable individuals and families in crisis by giving them three days emergency food supplies.
Parent Fran Evans said: “The children were really involved and enjoyed contributing - some by choosing their donations during the family shop, picking items from their own store cupboards - or carrying the goods to school.”
