There was a fantastic turnout for the latest I Will wedding show on Sunday, which took place at the stylish Copthorne Hotel on the waterfront at Merry Hill, Dudley.

More than 150 brides- and grooms-to-be attended the event, where exhibitors from the local area showcased everything from venue dressing and stationery to balloons and sweets.

A large selection of outfits and accessories from local boutiques were also on display, and the day’s highlight was a professional catwalk show organised by The Fashion Show Company. This featured the latest wedding fashions courtesy of Georgina Scott Bridal & Menswear (Stourbridge), Dream Days Bridal (Dudley), Dancers Menswear (Halesowen) and this season’s sponsor, 2 Have & 2 Hold of Kidderminster.

Exhibitor Terry Livesey, a wedding photographer, was particularly pleased with the day’s success: “It was a very good day for us – we always do well at the Copthorne, as it’s such a well-known hotel in a densely populated area. The I Will shows are pretty much the only ones I attend, because I trust them to be well-advertised and well-run.”

The final I Will show of the autumn season takes place this coming Sunday, November 3, at The Chateau Impney in Droitwich. The fabulous fairytale venue will be packed with all manner of wedding essentials.

The event runs between 11am and 3.30pm, and with plenty of free parking available, you can spend as long as you like browsing the stands. Don’t forget to enter the free prize draw to win goodies including a dream dress from this season’s sponsor, 2 Have & 2 Hold of Kidderminster!

The I Will wedding shows – run by the people behind local newspapers such as The Shuttle, Bromsgrove Advertiser, Redditch Advertiser, Stourbridge News, Halesowen News and Dudley News – bring together an array of services under one roof. This means couples and their families and friends can spend a relaxed and enjoyable day collecting ideas and contacts to help create the perfect wedding.
