STOURBRIDGE MP Margot James has pledged her continued support for the borough's children's centres.
During a recent visit to Hob Green Children’s Centre, Pedmore, Ms James saw first hand how staff support local families and how the health and wellbeing of the children is monitored and their progress reviewed.
Ms James said she was impressed to see the range of activities that are offered at the centre, including the Fit Kids group, which is a fun fitness session designed for toddlers and their parents.
She added: “I was delighted to visit Hob Green Children’s Centre, and was very impressed with the services that are on offer for young children and their families.
"Children’s centres play a vital role in supporting families and the wider community, and help to vastly improve the life chances of young children.
"Having previously secured a debate in Parliament to discuss the future of children’s centres, I will certainly continue to do all that I can to support these centres in my constituency.”
